I really like how the materials really capture the essence of the subject.

The pastels and the dulled brights really bring it to life in that sense.

Impressive

There is so much going on in this piece it's awesome.

So much tension and energy is captured in a still portrait that it's as if you suspended it in a moment of time.

It's not a drawing of him still in mid air, more like a snapshot of his falling with debris on his tail.

There is a great deal of action and I love the cape.
